Lead and manage the day-to-day organisation and operation of one of our rooms, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are consistently achieved.</p><p>&bull; Provide line management, supervision, coaching, and mentoring to Early Years Practitioners, students, and apprentices, supporting their professional development and performance.</p><p>&bull; Act as a role model for best practice, supporting staff to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and interactions in line with EYFS requirements and centre policies.</p><p>&bull; Take responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality curriculum that meets the individual needs of all children.</p><p>&bull; Monitor children&rsquo;s progress, ensuring accurate observations and &nbsp;assessments , ensuring accuracy, consistency, and progression in children&rsquo;s development.</p><p>&bull; Lead on maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment, ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards are embedded in daily practice.</p><p>&bull; Work collaboratively within the senior team to support the continuous improvement of practice, contribute to self-evaluation processes, and implement development plans.</p><p>&bull; Build and maintain strong, professional partnerships with families, acting as a senior point of contact for your room and supporting positive outcomes for children.</p><p>&bull; We also operate the University&rsquo;s impressive outdoor facilities including rugby pitches, 3G surfaces, tennis courts and additional training spaces.</p><p data-end="1178" data-start="948">The Sports Centre is owned and managed by the University and is open to students across the UK, University staff and members of the local community. Sport Lancaster also proudly hosts several national events throughout the year.</p><p data-end="1549" data-start="1180">Our team pride themselves on their knowledge and experience in their chosen area and are always on hand to guide and advise. We aim to inspire our customers to be physically active by creating a community which enables them to grow stronger, fitter and, most importantly, more confident. We cater for all abilities and our facilities are fully accessible to everyone.</p><p data-end="1999" data-start="1551">Working as part of the operational team, as a Fitness Instructor you will be responsive to members&rsquo; needs, regularly available to provide help and advice on the gym floor and deliver fitness services to an exceptional level. Your role will ensure safe and effective working practices are maintained and delivered to exceptional customer standards. You will also provide services and support for the University&rsquo;s engagement and wellbeing strategy.</p><p data-end="2358" data-start="2001"><strong data-end="2356" data-start="2001">Alongside your Fitness Instructor duties, this role offers the exciting opportunity to grow your Personal Training experience within the Sports Centre.
