            <p id="isPasted">Building on Lancaster&rsquo;s reputation as one of the UK&rsquo;s largest cyber and data research communities the School of Computing &amp; Communications (SCC) wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow to assist with the design, delivery and ongoing improvement of lab-based modules on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This is a full-time position for a one year fixed period and offers the opportunity to help deliver a truly world-class education experience in computer science and cyber-security.</p><p>You should be able to demonstrate a strong computer science background and excellence in lab-based teaching at University level with experience of teaching on a range of cyber-security related courses. The ideal candidate will have strong programming, systems and computational problem solving and software design skills. Duties include: contributing to curriculum development where appropriate, delivery of lab-based teaching, marking and assessment of coursework, supporting students with exam preparation and revision techniques, and participating in teaching reviews and quality assurance processes.</p><p>We are particularly looking for candidates who are passionate about creating an outstanding lab-based learning environment. Particularly desirable specialist knowledge areas include cyber-security, computer networking, operating systems and systems programming.&nbsp;</p><p>Lancaster is the only university in the North West that has attained National Cyber Security Centre recognition as an Academic Centre of Excellence in both Cyber Security Research and Education, along with delivering an NCSC Certified Master&rsquo;s Degree.           <title><![CDATA[GP Clinical Teaching Fellow (0537-26)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted"><strong>General Practitioner Clinical Teaching Fellow</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>(sessional)</strong></p><p>Salary: &pound;62.38 per hour (plus annual leave uplift)&nbsp;</p><p>We are recruiting additional GP Clinical Teaching Fellows to work on a sessional basis, to support Primary Care teaching delivery at Lancaster Medical School.</p><p>We have a well-established Primary Care Academic Teaching Team at LMS and the MBChB benefits from significant input from GP tutors facilitating small group teaching throughout the undergraduate course.&nbsp;This undergraduate Primary Care experience is valued by students and positively influences their future career choices, with many choosing to work in our local community.</p><p>We are looking for GPs who have an enthusiastic approach to Primary Care and medical education to inspire our students and instil a broad understanding of Primary Care. &nbsp;This means that while we appreciate and value experienced medical educators, we also welcome applications from GPs seeking new challenges and who may not already have experience of undergraduate teaching. These roles are enormously rewarding and can complement and invigorate GP clinical work.&nbsp;</p><p>There are a variety of teaching opportunities available with a range of half to full day campus-based sessions delivering Primary Care teaching. These sessions take place on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. There is also opportunity to contribute to additional educational activities within the MBChB programme.&nbsp;</p><p>Successful candidates will be supported with a full induction, access to an established programme of regular Primary Care Educational meetings, access to resources through the LUMEN network and feedback on their teaching through Peer Review.
