We also operate the University&rsquo;s impressive Outdoor facilities including Rugby Pitches, 3G surfaces, Tennis courts and much more.&nbsp;</p><p>The Sports Centre is owned and managed by the University and is open to students across the UK, University staff and members of the local community. Sport Lancaster also proudly hosts several national events throughout the year.&nbsp;</p><p>Our team pride themselves on their knowledge and experience in their chosen area and are always on hand to guide and advise. We aim to inspire our customers to be physically active by creating a community which enables them to grow stronger, fitter and most importantly, more confident. We cater for all abilities and our facilities are fully accessible to everyone.&nbsp;</p><p>Working as part of the operational team, as a Climbing Instructor, you are someone that is&nbsp;responsive to member needs, being&nbsp;regularly available to provide help and advice&nbsp;in&nbsp;the climbing wall.&nbsp;You will&nbsp;deliver group training courses and other related climbing services to an exceptional level.&nbsp;Your role will&nbsp;ensure safe and effective working practices are in place which are delivered to an exceptional level of customer standards.<strong> </strong></p><p>Please contact&nbsp;Lisa Coates&nbsp;on&nbsp;l.naylor@lancaster.ac.uk&nbsp;for any informal enquiries in relation to the post. Our knowledgeable team aim to inspire people of all abilities to be physically active in a welcoming, fully accessible environment.<br>&nbsp;Recreation Assistant<br>&nbsp;As a Recreation Assistant, you will work as part of a team to ensure a safe environment and high levels of customer service. Duties include lifeguarding, cleaning tasks, setting up sport areas and moving equipment safely.<br>&nbsp;You must hold a current RLSS UK lifeguard qualification (or equivalent), have lifeguarding experience, excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br>&nbsp;For informal enquiries, please contact Chris Mitchell at c.mitchell3@lancaster.ac.uk.
