This role sits within the Global Experiences team and will initially focus on supporting our inbound Study Abroad programme, while also contributing to a wider portfolio of global opportunities delivered across the University.&nbsp;</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to gain experience of working in a global team and supporting students participating in international programmes. This varied and challenging role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, Lancaster&rsquo;s global partners and colleagues across the University, helping to deliver a high-quality experience throughout the student journey. As an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a student-facing role, this is ideally suited to a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Joining the Team</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>The Global Experiences team works to motivate, engage and enable students in mobility opportunities overseas. We place accessibility at the heart of our programmes to help enable students from widening participation and disadvantaged backgrounds to participate.&nbsp;</p><p>The team&rsquo;s portfolio of work includes studying abroad as part of degree programmes, summer schools and vacation programmes as well as supporting internationalisation at home and digital connections. With strategic partnerships in Ghana, China, Malaysia, Germany and Indonesia, and collaborations worldwide, we are committed to global engagement. You will find lots of additional information on our&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/global-experiences/" target="_blank">webpages</a>. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>This role will support the administration and delivery of Global Experiences porfolio, initially focusing on the incoming Study Abroad programme and working closely with the Global Experiences Officers and colleagues across campus and internationally. The role will:</p><ul><li>Support the administration of student mobility programmes, maintaining accurate records and assisting with admissions, enrolment and student support processes.</li><li>Act as a key point of contact for students, responding to enquiries and providing guidance and support throughout their experience.</li><li>Support communication with partner institutions and other stakeholders, ensuring information is shared accurately and promptly.</li><li>Assist with the delivery of student welcome, orientation and engagement activities, contributing to a positive student experience.</li><li>Support the organisation and delivery of events, activities and programme-related initiatives, including logistical and administrative arrangements.</li><li>Maintain programme data, records and mailing lists, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.</li><li>Contribute to the maintenance of online content and promotional materials, supporting the visibility of Global Experiences opportunities.</li><li>Work collaboratively across the Global Experiences team to support a range of projects and activities as required.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>To succeed in this role, you will be highly organised, proactive and committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. The role will:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Support the coordination and administration of summer schools and visiting programmes, working closely with the Global Experiences Officer, as well as academic departments and professional services at the University.</li><li>Coordinate the recruitment, application and admissions process for the summer schools, managing enquiries, processing applications, maintaining student records, and providing support and guidance to participants through to the delivery of the summer schools.</li><li>Coordinate operational arrangements for programme delivery, including scheduling, booking rooms, preparing programme materials and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Provide comprehensive support to participating students before, during, and after their programme, responding to queries, facilitating orientation activities and signposting students to relevant University support services where necessary.</li><li>Contribute to marketing and promotional activities by creating and updating programme information, supporting information sessions, and maintaining online content, including social media.</li><li>Work cohesively with the Global Experiences team to support across projects.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>To succeed in this role, you will be highly organised, proactive, and passionate about international education and student mobility.
